OUR PASTOR

 

The Reverend Doctor Frederick N. Seay ("Pastor Fred") has served First Presbyterian Church of Lake Charles since January 11, 2004. He was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi, and attended the University of Southern Mississippi, Reformed Theological Seminary, and Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.

Fred has served as a Volunteer in Mission on the Texas-Mexico border. Before coming to Lake Charles he served as Pastor of Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian-American Baptist Church in Morenci, Arizona; Segunda Iglesia Presbiteriana in Harlingen, Texas; and First Presbyterian Church of Navasota, Texas. He and his wife Ruth married on December 30, 1989. They are blessed with three children, Daniel (age 17), Aaron (age 14), and Hannah (age 10).
