A COMMUNITY OF CHRISTIANS WHO CELEBRATE GOD’S LOVING PRESENCE AND
ENJOY GOD IN JOY-FILLED WORSHIP?

We celebrate two Sunday worship services. “The Gathering”, at 9:00 A.M., is a casual,
laid back, come as you are worship experience with uplifting music led by a praise
team.
The classic worship service, at 11:00 A.M., is worship solidly rooted in the Reformed
tradition, with special music led by the Chancel Choir.
Both services have a Bible-based, encouraging sermon that relates Christian faith to
everyday challenges. We also gather for special worship services at Advent,
Christmas, Holy Week, Easter, and other occasions.

A CHURCH THAT ALSO ENJOYS GOD IN DEVOUT STUDY, AND A PERSONAL
SEARCH TO UNDERSTAND GOD’S CALL?

We offer Sunday School classes for all ages, including two Adult classes. Sunday
School is at 9:45 A.M. A nursery, with an age-appropriate beginning Sunday School
class, is offered from 8:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. on Sundays, and is also open for
special services. Special short term classes are offered for baptized children in
Kindergarten through Sixth Grade to prepare them to celebrate Communion,
Confirmation Classes for youth in Seventh Grade and above, Elder Preparation
classes, and New Member classes.

A CHURCH THAT IS EAGER TO ENCOURAGE OTHERS IN THEIR WALK OF FAITH,
AND TO SERVE THOSE IN NEED?

Fellowship groups include 4 Presbyterian Women circles, a Men’s Group that meets
for breakfast and to hear a special speaker on the third Saturday of each month, and
a Youth Group (grades 6-12) that meets at 4:30 P.M. most Sunday. We enjoy
monthly fellowship dinners, and strive to show Christ’s love for one another, and for
the community.

We are deeply committed to mission. We support the Oak Park food pantry, maintain
a strong tie with a sister Presbyterian church in Cuba, and have sent groups on
mission trips as far away as Caderetya, Mexico and as close to home as Creole,
Louisiana. With the help of Presbyterian Disaster Assistance we are hosting work
groups that come from many different regions to help Southwest Louisiana rebuild
from the devastation of Hurricane Rita.
